 Researchers Needed for Women's History Educational Video Series by Ontario Women's History Network Newsletter (Winter 2004), 1/1/2004

Researchers will be needed across the country for a 13-part series on women's history in Canada called "Mother Tongue: The Other Side of History". The producer is looking for Masters or PhD students who specialise in women's or ethnic history in Canada.
The pilot program of Mother Tongue, on fugitive slave and freedom fighter Eliza Parker and the historic Black community in Buxton, Ontario has now been completed and will be broadcast on Canadian Learning Television and Book TV in February.
Broadcast times are:
TVO - Feb. 1, 2004 at 7:30 pm and Feb. 7th at 12:30.
Canadian Learning Television - Feb. 9 at 1:00 PM EST and Feb 9 at 7:00 EST.
Book TV - Feb. 17 at 9:00 PM MST and Feb 22 at 6:00 PM MST.
Researchers for the upcoming programs will cover womenÕs stories the following communities: Ukrainian, Polish, Italian, Acadian, Irish, Scottish, English, French, Finnish, Icelandic, Russian Doukhobor, Chinese, Japanese, First Nations, Vietnamese, Somali, Hispanic and Punjabi.
